First things first, Im not saying Adel has been amazing for us in the PL, I know fullwell he hasnt, but I do feel with him, we have so much expectation on him that, unless he has a worldy and pulls off some sublime skills and takes the game by storm, it seems some will brand it a "poor performance". The stats from Saturday clearly show he wasnt that bad at all, but some are saying how poorly he played.
Agree with Ginger regards park, looked top drawer in a very shoddy QPR performance, work harder than anybody and his touch and pass was class, can tell how he has made a career at utd. Just imagine how well he would play with the others around him being on song as well. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Rather meaningless unless you understand how they are complied. If chance created was a corner that did not beat the first defender, a shot at goal when he had run into a closed down position or a final third pass when he himself was closed down and could not get a shot off, then rather useless. Park's I could understand given he was playing deeper. Mark Hughes must see something at the training sessions on corners that makes him the best, if so the rest are very poor but the first point of a corner is getting the bloody ball over the first defender and I would love to see the stats on that. I would rather see his stats go down in one area and his assists go up but that comes from using the ball early. He is the Jamie Mackie of the middle running into closed down positions. No doubt about his skills on the ball but rather wasted if not applied for the benefit of the teamPopulus fui meus nomen , tamen meus nomen est non meus nomen

He is a good player and we need him. I can't see it any other way. At QPR grafters get love, even if they are average or worse. Flair players gets slated unless they play like Messi every game.

That is valid, but you can get something from stats, you just need to understand their context. Otherwise clubs wouldn't use them themselves.
Also, if you see a player has a pass completion of 10% - it does not matter whether he was trying to thread through the eye of a needle or a simple pass - it is still bad to concede that much possession.

Cisse was totally ineffective on Saturday, yes, and IMHO that was solely (or at leats majorly) down to Hughes tactics. Playing him as a lone striker and forcing him to come deep to pick up the ball with his back to the goal is totally neutralising his main weapon: playing off the last man and using his pace to get in behind their defence. He needs to play up top with Zamora IMO.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Tarbs was in my dream team, and scored very well for me based on his dribbles and shots at goal.
But losing the ball cheaply when the team is pushing up is dangerous, which is one of the reasons that led to us being thrashed. Not just down to Tarbs, but he's very much as culpable as the defence and Green imho.
