I would be very surprised if Nelsen didn't start on Saturday, yes he's past his best but has bags of Premiership experience and may well be able to marshall the rest of our motley crew into something resembling a back four! He'll provide a bit of leadership if nothing else!
so you think nelsen will be quicker than hill? Did you notice AT just trotting behind Dyer for that goal? (3rd I think btw) Dyer was all alone

Taarabt had an off game, he is what 23? Hill played above himself towards the tail end of last season and now looks very vulnerable. I even witnessed Clint and Hughes making eye contact towards the end of saturdays game and hughes eyes said "I know you're trying mate but it's not good enough". The same no doubt would have been said verbally to the whole team. Clint, however, is my take on the future. He is a top bloke & he shows passion of that there's no doubt. I noticed him shouting as no one reacted to his tackle leading to swansea's first but passion alone isn't enough. If it was I would be down there training for a game as I guess another 5000 fans would.

Rich I think Clint will admit himself that his time is coming, and I won't object too much if we sign a couple of CBs this window, but people saying Nelsen will be so much better are so wrong, at least 3 of those goals on sat were because of no midfield cover, and a Samba, Vidic, combination would have struggled to stop them scoring. My point about Clint and AT is that after one game Clint is deemed useless yet Adel has had what?...39 games in the prem and been good in.........3? Yet POTY from last season must go.

Some would argue that you have a point Dave and you're right in that Adel has been more bad than good since we were promoted. What I'm saying is that Adel has time on his side and is a very good player. Clint has had his time and is looking tired and limited. I love the blokes passion though.

                  there

there is a lot of annalytical stuff here, but the reality is if wee get a draw against norwich we will be getting somewhere, swansea played absolutely brilliant and would have destroyed anybody that day ,so lets just try to enjoy some success,if we could finish 14 th that would be sp wonderfull..

Taarabt had a reasonable number of decent games last season. Newcastle home, wolves home and away, Chelsea home, arsenal home, spurs home, Swansea home, were some of his decent performances. He also did well against Man Utd home when he came on as a sub. Just because he didn't score more than 2 goals it doesn't mean he wasn't playing well. Yes, he could have done better, but Warnock's treatment did not help his confidence.
