  • The Springbok before the game

After enjoying a nice couple of pints of cider in the White Horse complete with air conditioning I then went to the Springbok despite promising myself I would not bother giving a business my cash that obviously could not give two shits if I went there or not

How I wished I had gone elsewhere as of course the bouncers would not let anyone escape the heat inside and take there drink outside and when I went to the upstairs bar it was even worse and was like standing in a greenhouse as they will now not even open the balcony doors

I know this is largely down to Hammersmith Council and the Police but surely common sense must prevail when it is such a hot day and the rules relaxed a little but perhaps I am even more annoyed with that pub because of the could not care less attitude from the staff, the prices which fluctuate each time you go to the bar or the simple fact that the beer is rank everytime

Was property sweaty especially if your some sort of kn*b who thought wearing trousers was a good idea.

Dont know how that geezer could stand in there behind the jump sweating out then go in the ground and bang that drum for the entire first half.

You and Matt are both shall we say 'big lads' so you sweat more. Might not be a bad thing to help shred a few pounds

Was that you taking a jimmy riddle next to me then? Thought I see you taking a sneak peek at my member. Homosexual tendancies aside, cheers for the compliment - I always thought a flacid 6 inches was pretty standard tbf.

                          I

I can understand why isleworth is so angry

back in 69 the springbok was our pub,the violence was not always happening, but it was a very hostile place if you were a fan from the opposition

you often got mobs of 50 geezers comming into the pub,it didnt kick off but the qpr fans who n umberd about three hundred would condence up and stand there giving them a look that said it all

BE VERY CAREFULL COME IN PEACE AND ENJOY
BUT UPSET US AND WE WILL DESTROY

I cant remember too many fights inside the pub,in those days it always used to be one lot numbering about 300 would charge at another mob,who would then usually run away

but then after a while the owners of the pub hit on a good idea

LETS MAKE IT AN AWAY PUB

so for many years it was an away pub only

so now it once more allows home fans into it but we cannot stand outside and spill all over the place
this is down to the fact that strategically its position means that away fans will inevitable be walking past it,this of course created the flash point recently

SO MY HEART GOES OUT TO ISLEWORTH HE IS A QPR SUPERFAN,and didnt want to go to a sauna baths............................................. ...........
