The lower loft atmosphere has been absolutely killed imo, at one point, about the 25th min yesterday, a person across from me stood up to sing and was asked to sit down because he was being too loud, whilst the lower loft has never been the loudest of sections in the ground, there has allways been some singing and ive never seen anyone be told to sit down because they were too loud, it was like sitting in the emirates

It was way too hot on Saturday for anyone other than the true die hard's to create an atmosphere. So many people just sitting around, soaking up the sun and having a day out. Also, many people will not want to get involved in creating the atmosphere we need until the 11th hour when games truly seem to be "must win". They don't get that points gained now really count towards the final tally and get you safe before squeaky bum time.
Oh, and don't forget, we have already inherited a whole load of new world fans that watched us get battered and walked away before the final whistle.
Doesn't bode well. I'm looking forward to away days even more than ever this season for atmosphere.
And wow, what will it be like if we move to a shinny new fruit bowl?
