Bosingwa & Nelsen Must Start At Norwich

Is it now too late to sign anybody for Saturday. I thought it was Thursday at midday, but somebody else indicated it was Friday.

On Saturday i think that there were 3 area that were not right :

1. Fabio to attacking

2. no protection for the centre backs

3. No hold up play

so,

Its friday at midday. Even if they do sign... Its a big ask for somebody to come in and do a job and late notice..

For me.

Bozzy right back, Nelsen & Hill CB & if fit Traore LB.

Yes a completley different back four but yesterday was glaringly obvious how poor we are. Ferdinand has to be dropped out for me.

Nelsen & Hill despite their combined age are two no nonsense defenders & against a physical lump like Holt we will need that.

I'd rather we shuffle the pack early on than let a sh!t unit get settled & cost us to much to early.

Harsh maybe but after yesterday I think a major change is required.

Agree mate but I think its a little harsh on Fabio. I thought he was one of our better players at the weekend.

12 o'clock Friday afternoon is the deadline fella to play in games up to Monday night.

it'd definitely be panic stations if we bought someone today or tomorrow AM and then put them straight in v norwich at the weekend. bosingwa ok, at least we've had him a few days now, but i agree we should stick nelson in there too. it really does look like it's the rear half of the pitch we have the issue with, we have enough good players going forward and will always create chances but we'd do so much better if we built from the back.

i thought when hughes arrived he was renowned for building his teams from the back? looks like he's using mdf and polyfilla right now rather than breezeblocks and mortar...
