Playing behind the striker clearly means nothing to him, he just joins in with the centre mids and passes it elsewhere. Play him as a striker next time so he knows he has to stay deep with Cisse. Cisse needs another player there to link up with. Today he was just waiting for the ball to luckily fall to him.

Luxury player, and at this level to me he doesn't do enough to warrant a place in the team. What did he get last season? 1 goal? Sorry you've got to be doing a lot more than that if you're going to give the ball away that often and not track back!

Yesterday's system was used to allow Adel to play, as any other system with the players we have, would have meant Adel was a sub. He went to deep to get the ball when he didnt have to and ****ed it up, so I really can't see MH playing 4-2-3-1 in a hurry and will revert to his tries and tested 2 strikers up front. Football is about shape and balance and we had neither yesterday.
