Defence - we've all been saying it

I can't understand why the defence wasn't the top priority for Hughes. All the fans have been saying it and I thought 2 central defenders would be first on the shopping list.

Sorry but Hill & Ferdinand are a liability and it was obvious months ago.

The good news is we have time to resolve it but it was obvious to supporters so I'm trying to fathom why the management didn't deal with it.

On the plus side, Hoilett and Park looked impressive.

It's not a case of not trying to get them more the case of not being able to like samba he can't leave till January. We are trying to get mbia we have signed bosingwa and fabio along side nelson we are strengthening the defense. I guarantee we will have a new cb by the end of transfer window.

Our so called superstars must learn to play the ball quicker and more precisely. It looks to me that most of them wanted to show how 'good' they are but flopped as a team!
