None of the signings they've made are players I've ever heard of, apart from Bartley.

Is everyone else as excited as me?

Can't remember the last time I was so excited about the start of the football season. Awake this morning at silly o'clock despite a late night and a skinful at a friends wedding. Both nipper and I have got crisp new shirts and for the first time since the 82 cup final I have gone for a (Tarbs) name on the back!

With Park, Hoillet, Green (!), Johnson, Fabio and Nelson all possibly making league debuts today and Cisse and Adel on fire per season I can't wait to get to LR and drink in the atmosphere this afternoon.

I think I am more excited than my 9 year old and am buzzing about today!

        Come on urrrrrrrrsssssss!

Oldhoop, yes I am really excited. Up early this morning. Planned my journey and just can't wait to walk into the ground later. There is always a buzz first game, even after the Bolton game last season I actually came out the ground after with positivity. Today with all our recent additions I think we will be coming out the ground at 5pm with massive smiles. Just hope those sheep lovers don't get too much of the hump today.

            You R'ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

I can't wait. Taking my 6 year old to his first ever match and think it will be great.

The fact we've assembled a quality squad is a massive bonus!

extremely excited. Woke at 5.50 am and have been telling my 9 month old daughter all about it. She seemed to prefer me making animal noises, but oh well - I'll get there :D :D

Yep cant farking wait. Getting myself scrubbed up now and having some grub before heading up for some early beers, probably in the White Horse. Absolutely buzzing.

Just like Oldhoop got up at silly o'clock, but just watched the Swansea, Liverpool and Stoke games to get me in the mood. Leaving now, be at The Bush by 12.45. U R's!!!

                            Very cautious optimism.

I remember about this time last season, being full of optimism and excitement about the potential for a good start.
