          Can see Southampton and Wigan will do very well. Wigan have made some astute signings!

                Agree with the OP in that Soton will do well. Good gaffer, fan base & players, with some dosh being splashed. Think they'll finish the season comfortabley safe.
                You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

                  Agree. If the season had gone on another fortnight they were down. Be interesting to see how Lambert does. A lot of managers look brilliant at a smaller club where they have total authority, then come into a bigger club with disillusioned big stars and they can't cut it.

                  As for the surprise package in the Prem this year, I know this is biased but I'm really struggling to look much beyond ourselves.
