He is not a bad player, I just think Onahura is a better option at RB.
    A) That was under a poorer manager than Hughes.
    B) I'll trust the judgement of Hughes and his team over Chelsea fans any day of the week.#
    C) I highly doubt we will be seeing Neds playing at RB this season - only as emergency cover at best.

    IMO.

The other thing is Mark Hughes likes to rotate depending on who we are playing. If were at home against a weaker team I'd go with a very attacking back four like:

      Bosingwa Mbia Ferdinand Traore

That 4 would be mental getting forward however Man United away you might go:

Onouha Nelsen Ferdinand Fabio (loan permitting)

Who know's? Im not expert thats what MH's get paid f*ck loads for.

To right you cant, I'd call that a pretty formidable defencive squad even in the Prem

whether bosingwa is strong or not is irrelevant
the question is does he make the 2nd team at a minimum and still let us compete in the premiership
the answer to that is Yes, so good signing
          This completely.

          • From a Swansea fan on their board!

"But mark Hughes doesn't like attacking he likes to keep it tight and boring and will look to not lose rather than win. So bosingwa will have his wings clipped and will be banned from crossing the halfway line.

I see what your saying but with a stable, rock solid back 5, with none of them going on glory runs, Adel, SWP, Diakite, Park and Hoilett can.

What ever happens no two people pick the same team and substitutions and I cant wait to see who he starts with tomorrow.

Yeah I agree paul a defence really should be the solid foundation the rest of the team works of but wether this is best found by a solid regular back 4 or a changeable one I dont know.

Let leave it in the hands of Mark & Co. One thing is for sure Im f*cking looking forward too tomorrow.

                  • A strong squad in the PL is essential, more essential then having a super strong starting XI.

Take last season for example. When Faurlin got injured, we had Derry come in.

We started Agyemang up front in a lone striker role, and had to include Hulse in the 25 in Jan.

People said we were crap cos we spent a fair bit and still struggled, but what they didnt know that our big name players weren't always available (Cisse, Barton, Diakete suspended, SWP, Young loss of form etc etc). Our back ups were Championship quality or below!

We don't have CL aspirations...yet! So for now, Boswinga is a bloody fantastic signing and I can't wait to see him play.

Whereas Swansea attack all the time. Just don't score much.

                      • Bosingwa did really well last season for Chelsea. At the highest level there are question marks over his defending ability but for QPR to sign him would be a major coup. His attacking quality is first class.

Trust me he is better right back than Onouha

                        • Boswinga was world class 4 years ago just as Chelsea signed him (might be why Chelsea signed him). He had just had a great world cup with Portugal and really looked the real deal. Then he got injured playing for Chelsea and was never the same player.
He is worth a shot though. A better option than Luke Young and he can play at centre back if he has to which he proved last season and did a better job than he did at right back.
Hopefully a fresh start will fire him up and if he gets back to 75% of the player he once was we will have potentially the signing of the season considering we signed him on a free.
But, to play devils advocate he is probably on big wages so he needs to improve!

                            • How many of us spotted the need for a RB?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
