ADEL TAARABT wants to give big-spending QPR lift off to the new season by gunning down the Swans again.
“I always seem to play well and score goals against them. They must hate playing against me and will probably be sick of the sight of me. They do play very good football but that just seems to bring the best out of my game. I’m hoping I will be given a chance to play again and it’s important we start well.”
...
And Taarabt, 23, says his only target is finding a way into Mark Hughes’ new-look side following the summer spree.
...
He added: “I think I have matured as a player and was happy to sign the new contract. There have been a lot of new faces, with all the signings, and these are some exciting times. I want to be part of that. The club is getting bigger and bigger, with a new training ground and talk of a new stadium. Last year our aim was to stay in the Premier League. We achieved that and now we want to progress and improve.”
He seems to be only slightly confident about this match, doesn't he?
Haven't seen him this confident in a long time. Well we all know a confident Adel Taarabt is usually very dangerous...To both us and the opposition but hopefully more to them
Also, nice to see he's happy here at QPR. He knows there will be competition for starting places, but it seems he's willing to really work for that. Good on him. Imo I think he will live up to those expectations that was set on him at the end of our championship winning season.
