Yes because say our attacking lot aren't really up for a match/fatigued/injured, then we will be left with a shakey defence which could then take a battering. We don't want to repeat foolham and the the other lot down the road again do we?

They put their bodies on the line. yet Still let in 3 goals 2 in the last 5 mins if letting in 3 is ok we will go down! also I think at some stage Hill as much as I like him will get found out especially for pace, and still not convinced on ferdinand? I'm sorry to say.

Definitely. More important than all signings bar Diakite. Which makes it a bit of a shame it hasn't happened.
Did question this one here the other day, most people seemed happy with the business we've done. I'd sooner we'd done less and sorted the hole in the middle.

I'm afraid we haven't done enough of the right business to date. Adding Fabio and Nelsen to what was a poor defence last season isn't nearly enough. I also have reservations about Ferdinand and Onouha.
In midfield we've done better by adding JSP, Hoilett and Diakite. However, with Ale still regaining match fitness, Barton out for the foreseeable future, and Derry, if we're honest, on his last legs, we're weak in central midfield. It's all very well saying Park can slot on there, or SWP, but both have played their careers on the right side of midfield. A centre midfielder is required.
Up front we've added just Andy Johnson who is expected to be a cover player this season. So it will be Cisse, Johnson, BZ, and a choice of either DJ, who is out of favour, Bothroyd, or Hulse. Happy with that? I'm not.
Apparently, we're only going to sign just one more player, yet so far £247m has been spent by EPL clubs this window, and our share has been £5.5m. The average per club is £12.35m so we're well down.
Still, if people are happy going in with the squad we have, fine, but I remain sceptical.Last edited by QPR Richard; 16-08-2012, 05:43 PM.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
