we aint getting any younger so lets hope so.I know you and me dont agree on much, but we both want the same thing, and what frustrates me is that we are a decent striker away from achieving our goal THIS season.

            Pete

Why do you say DEFINITELY in 2 seasons time you feel we will be watching premiere footie? Do you think our owners are going to give it one last year of trying to do it on the cheap this year and if it doesn't work then bite the bullet and spend real money to get us out of this league the following year ? ,Why not this season. OR is 'THE PROJECT' not due for completion till 2011
Just curious . I still find it odd that our owners do not seem too rushed about getting to the promised land .

Building a foundation so that survival in the prem is more realistic !!!
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

So, from the bookie's perspective, what are your odds on us NOT getting promoted this and next season and are you still taking bets?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

Yeah but it does take time to build a decent side... hence why it is a 4 year plan. They are building up a good team and believe that we are only 2 players off a top side... So lets have faith in them and give them the time they need.

2 players from having a decent championship side but how many of our current squad are good enough for the prem? wouldnt it be a case of having to completely rebuild again if we go up?

Even our best players ultimately didnt cut it in the prem; Taraabt, Routledge, Vine and the other better players are un-tested at that level; Gorkss, Connolly, Rowly, Balanta, Buz...

2 players away from a decent side and I quite agree however I would even give borrowdale a chance at left back as he doesn't look a bad player.
So come on owners lets sign a friggin centre forward with a proven record.
Kamara is 3 million but could be off to france. We should be going in for a player like him and I think he would be a better and safer option than Beckford. I know he has had a fair few injurys but he would score us the goals we need and is excactly the type of player we need. Lets take advantage of a decent midfield and sign a bloody striker. Sorry the more I think about it the more annoyed I get well maybe frustrated is a better word. I feel like I have spent 2 years on this jigsaw and I can't believe I have lost the middle piece as it looks ****.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

                            Definitely ummm

A teacher in a classroom asked her pupils to give a a good example of the word definite. The first pupil puts there hand up and says "when I get home I'm definitely going to watch eastenders." The teachers tells them it's not a good example because someone in their family might want to watch something else. Anothe pupil puts their hand up and says "When I get home I'm definitely going to have lamb chops for dinner" Teacher explains again that it isn't definite because their mum might decide to cook something else or the shop might not have lambchops. A third pupil puts their hand up and asks the teacher "Do farts have lumps in them" The teacher is initially disgusted at the question, but eventually answers "no they don't" and asks why. To which the pupil responds. "Well I've definitely sh.it myself"

Pete. See what I've done there?
