  • Third straight QPR Swansea appointment for referee Probert

Lee Probert, a man once branded a 'village idiot' by then QPR boss Ian Holloway, is the referee for Saturday's opening fixture with Swansea - as he was for QPR's last two meetings with the Swans.

He didn't ref our 4-0 win vs the swans....it was both of last seasons fixtures with them; 1-1 and 3-0

In all our matches where he's been in charge, we haven't lost...so let's hope that continues this saturday.

Sorry incorrect,we lost to Sheff Utd away 3-2 to a last minute penalty where Birch was judged to
have pushed one of their players.

Still cant believe it was given no appeal from any players,no appeal from the home crowd, the incident
occurred at their end and no appeal from Warnock who was their manager at the time.

From memory think it was season 08-09,thats why Ollie called him a village idiot.

I have looked at his performances since and none exactly fill me with confidence, but then not many refs do.
