This is the best forum around for QPR related rumour and discussion, regardless of how much drivel is posted. You have to skim through threads really, and pick out the gems from the rubbish. I mainly post on NOT606 because it's a little bit cliquey here (this thread being case in point). Isn't it good to have all ages of poster? The old guys provide opinions shaped by years of supporting QPR, and the younger ones keep them from fallng asleep whilst the stove is on. It's the perfect symbotic relationship.

seems a bit snobbish to me...if you dont like a thread or question dont participate....also just because someone is young does not make them less valid as a supporter.
sure different age groups have different takes on situations and different levels of knowledge, its a beautiful fact of life. repeat.. if you dont find what someone else is asking interesting
move on to another thread.. of course in an off season the subject matter will vary.. of course real conversation will sometimes wander....seems like some just dont like "newbies"

My original post was born out of frustration due to the constant drivel we've been subjected to continuously this summer I'm here. Yes it is the silly season and the school holidays that I can accept however either nip it in the bud now or this forum goes to pot completely through the course of the season. The original post was merely an observation which has clearly ruffled a few feathers, this website has become

Overrun by excited teenagers
Newbie posters who post for the sake of posting
And twitter freaks , if you're over the age of 21 has to be the biggest load of shite ever invented and was not a comment directly made towards anybody at directly but due to the constant random twitter rumours which keep appearing on here

Some of the questions asked at times are borderline ridiculous and sometimes by men old enough to know better

It's wrong to tar everybody with the same brush as some of the better posters on here are younger but by and large the consensus of the original post isn't too far off the mark

There is no reason why the forum should be elitist but at the same time our new and younger fans should have a little bit more common courtesy or message board etiquette. You don't need to start a new thread every time you want to say something, there is not a necessity to continuously ask for news and updates such as Player injuries over and over again e.g. Diakate. Maybe I'm getting old but why the hell are we discussing computer games?

Anyway back to catching some rays for a bit, 40° and the mercury is still rising.... I might have an apéritif in a minute as I ponder outcome of the new season and I certainly will not be thinking about squad numbers or what time is the new captain to be announced.
