i've always thought Tommy Smith is a decent enough player but obviously Mark Hughes considers him surplus to requirements

hope we treat him with respect, we owe him that much
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

I wouldn't complain if he was in the 25 man squad. Has the potential to come off the bench and score a couple of important goals a season
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!

For example, that 30 yard screamer vs Wigan at home!

Tommy Smith, a very good professional footballer, I am always pleased to see his name in our matchday squad.

Of all the fringe players at our club, he'd be the last to leave if I had my way.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

you got to love tommy...i rate him..but i think he's lower level prem quality
and we now have bigger plans....feel the same about derry too....
sorry to see both go when they do but its necessary, put it like this,
a top ten club wont be enquiring when they are made available

The headline is a bit naughty really... "Despite being FORCED to play with the reserves".

It's almost suggesting we want him gone so are doing it out of spite, whereas the simple truth is that's his level in our club now. There's no chance he'd be involved in the first team squad ahead of the likes of Taarabt, SWP, Hoilett, Park, etc etc etc.

I've always thought he's ok, not great, but is professional and consistent.
