Why oh why?
Without them the club would have been broke and probably playing against Oxford and Forest Green as league fixtures.
Yes, it would have been great if they spent £5M on a striker and a left back (i.e. Evans and Fox), but to be fair the club doesn't generate anywhere near enough income to justify all the outgoings on fees and wages.
Perhaps we should all stop moaning (including me) and be thankful that largely as a result of their spending, QPR are no longer likely to be propping up the table and facing a long hard season trying to stave off relegation.
