Oh god I hope this isn't true, isn't Heinze about 50?

Am confused by this. Sure Heinz can play centre back but it sounds a pretty well sourced article and it is pretty clear that left back is seen as the problem area which either of these players wd be brought in to fill. But that is where I thought Fabio would play. Assuming Fabio is going to be somewhere in defence and not midfield that wd suggest he will be right back - but that in turn wd prob mean Onouha moving back into the middle with Anton where he was terrible at the start of his Rangers career. Incidentally it wd also make it even harder for Traore to get into the side. Left back will be virtually impossible and left side of midfield with Hoilet and Adel is already looking very crowded. Both these players we are being linked with are good players, just not sure where they fit in.

We yet donīt know how Fabio good is at the back. Just my opinion, and I hope he will continue to develop under Hughes.

Just out of interest, what gave you the idea that Fabio was brought in to play LB? Were you assuming that Traore was going to be Fabio's back up and Ned was going to be the permanent RB, perhaps with Harriman or Young as back up? Personally, I think Fabio is a better RB than Ned and Traore deserves his place as starting LB.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Always been a fan of Heinze very strong defensively at left or centre and good in the air in both boxes. Very good all round footballer as well and can hapiully slot into midfield when needed

Yes that was my assumption - only difference is I saw Dyer/ Connolly as back up with Fabio also able to move over to right back if need be. Also saw Traore as pushing for a place left side of midfield, although that is obviously more difficult with Hoilett's arrival.

Dont disagree with you about Traore I'm a big, big fan. But trying to second guess Hughes and judging by the way he brought in Taiwo I assumed he didn't rate Traore as a defender. Also Onouha is a Hughes signing who has played for Hughes before - be surprised if Hughes leaves him on the bench given that. For the record I'm fairly ambivalent about Onouha - thought he was poor at centre back and v solid if unspectacular at right back. I wdnt mind your suggested formation but wd be surprised if that is what Hughes picks - either way we stand to make one of our own players disgruntled as they are left out to accomodate a loan player.

Agreed. Funny how people turn their noses up when a player of his quality is liked to QPR. LOL.

Heinze, getting on a bit now isnt he? Seem to recall him being early 30's when he left united.

Pretty solid no nonsense defender though.

He would be a great piece of business on a free but wouldn't like to see us paying a fee for him. We sure do like our over 30's, I might dust down my boots!

Dear God, if we sign either one of those then we are relegation candidates
