  • South Korean pens

We England could learn a lot from the South Korean penalty takers, i was very impressed with the way they stood there and waited until they were clear headed and then struck the ball, seems to me a lot of our players just want to rush the kicks and get them over with.

Penalties are goals handed to us on a plate. Get that into players heads, and missed penalties will suddenly become as rare as rocking horse ****.

Weren't all of theirs high into the corners as well? Makes it so much harder for the keeper.

Takes nerve and great technique though.

        Ah...

To be honest mate we could say the same thing about every team that is decent at penalties, what it boils down to with English players is the mental aspect.

Please, think nothing of it. We would have been playing with ourselves, if you lot hadn't turned up.

No professional footballer should fail to put the ball in the net, unchallenged, from 12 yards away.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Ki has been taking penalties since he was 17 years old, as a member of U-19 South Korea. Even in Celtic he took most penalties failing only once.

He failed penalty take only once in his life time.

Ki looked fantastic. intelligent positions, good passer, good workrate...strong like you said bonheurjh, hope he signs..
i was reading an article about him from a celtic fan who liked ki... and the thing he was most impressed with
was consistency...he said ki is always good even when the rest of the team are playing sh*t...

                      Top player i think
