hopefully Faurlin can play some part even in one game. Interesting to see if Hargreaves can get minutes also

This squad has to be close to what the final squad would be , if Dyer proved his fitness and Hargreaves did sign that would make 27 players , obviously deduct the 3 youth players due to being under 21 . That would leave 24 , if the rumours are true we are looking at trying to get another 2 players . So 1 has to go from that squad , which I would imagine to be Connolly or Derry ? Also looks like Bothroyd is also on his way !

And transfer window is also open almost a month,so maybe 1 or 2 are coming in,but future doesn't look too good for Jay and if Dyer proves his fitness and Ki or Hargreaves signs it would be tough for Derry to get in 25 man squad

I like Hargreaves as a player. Tough, ball-winning midfielder and just what we want. If he can stay fit he's definitely good enough for us.

Has Owen signed a hush hush deal ? we will know if he has if he plays otherwise he would not be allowed to due to insurance purpose.

Could we be at an advanced stage of discussions with somewone about another striker?

IF we do get a stiker i think it would be more likely to be a target man now HH has gone and Both could be possiblyon his way, as opposed to poacher. That would rule out defoe imo and more likely a RSC / Berbatov type, but Berbatov has said not interested in us, so who knows... Maybe MH has a foreign gem he has his eye on.

My thoughts exactly , imagine a defender and cm is what Hughes if after . But if and I mean a big if Hargreaves proves himself then Hughes may not have to splash out on another midfielder . People forget Hargreaves was fit for the second half of the season last year , was just not picked by mancini

I would imagine that we would be after a CB and a defender to cover Fabio afterall he is only on loan and could possibly get recalled by Fergie.

                          seems Hargreves's fit is great!
hope his fit is great and sign him!!
if he fits great he will be starting line up.
without injuryes ,its apparent that his class is amazing.
if with one of Hargereves or Ki,
Park would go for side position.

Not sure how the midfield might shape up. We've got Taraabt, Diakite, Faurlin, Derry, Barton, with possibly Ki and Hargreaves to sign. Then there's Hoilett, Park, SWP, and Mackie. My guess is Derry will miss out and Taraabt moved into a strikers group of four with Cisse, AJ and BZ. Hoilett and Mackie can play up front too.

Might have it wrong but Hargreaves might just be going on the tour to get a bit of match practice and then move on.
