    With you on this

clever player, will create more goals than actually score, no ba7 thing
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross

        1) He still has bundles of pace. I debated with my 10 year old and he thinks Johnson is even quicker than Cisse, I wasn't sure but there isn't much in it.
        2) He is always on the shoulder of the last man and gambles more than Cisse, for example. He could win us more pens and create more chances
        3) It was clear to see his understanding with Zamora, this is something that needs work with other players.

Would I start him over Cisse? I don't think so but only because I wouldn't start Zamora either. With Zamora? Definitely!

Johnson will be an important player for us next season.
Am I the only person to read your post and pick up on the fact you'd definitely start AJ ahead of Cisse if Zamora plays....?!

All I can say is its a good job you're not manager then.

Yes I get the fact he and BZ have a good understanding, but with that they manage to score very rarely between them.

Personally I'd choose the player who averaged a goal every 90mins for us ahead of the player who averaged a goal every 3 months.

I do however think he will be a good player for us and will nick a few off the bench possibly with pace against tired defenders and players who can slor him in.

Have to agree. Why is it that when someone who is clearly on the slide arrives at the club, everyone imagines that they will suddenly be rejuvenated? Very occasionally this happens but overwhelmingly it does not.

We have a talented midfield and a bit of width which means we need strikers who can actually find the net from time to time. I wouldn't play either of them, and there are two ways of doing that. One is to junk 4/4/2 which I suspect will happen more often this season, and the other is to play Adel where a Rangers 10 belongs ;)
