I'd rather we kept him over bothroyd. But then he probably wouldn't want to be warming the bench.

Really hope this isn't true. I rate him more highly than Bothroyd, Johnson and DJ. Very good striker when fit and could still do a job in the Prem.
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!

Helguson is the best cover for Zamora out of those above. He can a lot as a lone striker/target man, he is also a very different type of striker to Johnson, who can operate on the right , or Campbell
who is more of a poacher.

I'm gutted about this but should of expected it. Hopefully he does really well for his new team and Ive never enjoyed watching a target man more then his performances against Stoke away.was truly amazing
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Thought Heidur did well last season, and think he could play a big part for us as he'll get much better service this season, nice option to have from the bench. I can't see the point in getting rid of him unless we have another big striker coming in..

And as QPR said, anyone who can menace the Stoke defence is going to terrorise most defences.

Can't see HH getting much action with us unless we get injuries/suspensions.
Good player to have on the bench but at his age he wants to be playing and you can't blame him for that.

sad to see him go but i guess its time due to age. one of the more under appreciated yet effective players in the prem over the years.
without his goals first half of last season where would we be.
good to hear tony talk of Ki interest though.

At his age he has to be playing games.
