  • We're 11/10 to beat Swanselona

Now dont get me wrong I'm not taking this game as a given at all, especially as they have a new gaffer that we know nothing about, but Bet365 are giving 11/10 on us to beat Swansea 1st game and, IMO, thats a great price. I appreciate we have lots of new faces and theres the old "needing to gel" arguement, but trying to put a neutrel head on as a punter putting a little bet on for the opening day, 11/10 seems a massive price for a side who have signed the likes of Fabio, Hoilet & Park. Not to mention we're the home side.

I'll certainly be having abit of that in a double or treble abit nearer the time.

To win by more than two goals and Cisse to score kind of bet? I'd take some of that action.

It means for every 10 quid you put on, you get 11 quid.

Means we would be favourites as we are shorter odds than Swansea, but by no means a cert. A home side thats really fancied would be alot shorter odds than that. The odds being given, to me, shows the bookies see it as quite a close call. Cheers for the odds btw Hove.

I admire your optimism but whenever I feel that confident about a win it usually goes t**ts up.

Those are good odds and worth adding on a double or treble. QPR have a good record at home on the opening day - Bolton was an exception - and Swansea have a poor record at Loftus Road. I fancy Park to score in this game if he makes his debut too.

yes, I think those odds are very good, really suprised. I will take a punt. Haven't kept an eye on Swansea - they haven't signed anyone great have they?

I thought they were rubbish at ours last season and the whole thing about them is a myth.

They pass the ball around, but only in their own half - Barca do it in the opponents half, so the comparsion is such a joke.

Also lost their manager - this is a home banker for me.
