Personally, I may have been too harsh regarding DJ. He was amazing at Blackpool really. Hence this "case" is a mystery to me, all clubs needs a goalpocher and that is what a fit DJ was under Olli´s reign. Could it be that he desperatly wants a secure first team spot? I dunno.

I'd like to say yes but sadly no, can't see him getting a look inUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

A fit DJ would certainly install more confidence in me coming off the bench than say betty. Im not for one minute suggesting he should be anywhere near the starting 11 but i do feel that he could do a job coming on as sub or in certain situations. Agree that he is a lazy player but he seems to have a goalscorers instinct. Maybe im just wanting him to do better than most due to him being a hoop? Certainly been unlucky with injuries thats for sure

IMO No DJ is challenging Cisse and AJ for a place in our squad, Cisse scores goals for fun and AJ does more donkey / team work than DJ.
Boothroyd is challenging BZ and HH for a place in the squad so I cant see how DJ can take his place.
I know DJ had injuries last season but for me apart from Wolves when he did come on he didnt do enough to warrent his place in the squad this year. One for all.... and all for one
