I saw somewhere I can't quote or post a link so don't shoot me lol. That we are in advanced talks with samba but another club in the premier league is also interested.
Yeah that stat is solid mainly because of the fact that in the books you normally have a fair few player in there and 70% of the time it's him who gets it.

my view...but i see everything through qpr coloured glasses...
he want to come to qpr last season...he got interest from spurs but
ignored it.....made overtures to blackburn..protested his price....
lots of clubs sorted...lots know they cannot compete with qpr...
clubs dont like public bids when they know they will get turned
down..its damaging for them

In your opinion he is worth 12 million quid and would be a great buy..in my opinion he's not worth that kind of money and we could get as good for lot less money. All about opinions just you seem to have a few strange ones :-) keep posting them tho as i find you amusing

He is a very good defender who wins more than he loses in aerial challenges. He is the type QPR need. He has a proven premier league record and with the midfield and attack Hughes has assembled he could be just the ticket.
Also, I may be a bit naive but who is Douglas? £12m for prove ability or a £4m gamble? I know what I would prefer.

Anyone who thinks Douglas will be cheap is mental- he is the best CB in the Dutch league and is being chased by a number of sides-Newcastle seemed to pull out of the race due to the fee being quoted- he'll set us back 8-9 million at least. He would be a big gamble, too.
Samba would cost more but has proved he can hack it in the Prem- he is a monster of a CB- anyone who saw him at Loftus Road last year will know what I mean. He's worked with Hughes before and could be the ideal partner for Anton, whereas Douglas would need time to settle, learn the language, learn the Prem etc etc.

Hughes rubbished talk of a move for Manchester United's Dimitar Berbatov, but Craig Bellamy, Jermaine Defoe and Chris Samba are among those believed to be on his radar.
