Some will recall a poster called Alex telling us all on here about his wife's battle with cancer recently and how following QPR gave them both an outlet from what they were going through
The very sad news I have read on Facebook is that Suzy has lost her fight against this terrible disease and has passed away in the last couple of days
I cannot pretend I know Alex that well apart from seeing him at most away games and at home game in the White Horse but when I read the news I immediately thought how anyone of us could be in his shoes right now and I`m not afraid to say it really shook me as I cannot imagine what losing your wife especially so young must be like
I am not a religious man and not very good with words but I am sure all of us on WATRBS will have a quiet thought and perhaps a prayer for Alex and his family as we have sadly lost another supporter of our great club
