  • TF rules out selling Traore

Benfica are closing in on the signing of QPR defender Armand Traore, according to reports in Portugal.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola claims Traore, who only moved to west London last August, will swap Loftus Road for the Estadio da Luz as manager Mark Hughes looks to reshuffle his defensive options.

Are they getting mixed up here? I thought Benfica were interested in Taiwo, and he was going there this summer.

He is a huge huge talent . I would be very dissapointed in the club if they let him go however I do understand if he wants to leave he should not be on the bench.part of the problem I think is that it seems as if mh likes the option for the lw to cut in and shoot and use the RW to cross.

              Very disappointing news if true.

Will make a very good LW.

Best player we have at the club to play left wing, his pace and delivery will destroy teams. It would be madness to not play him so he leaves to get games.

Can't find anything about this anywhere else online?
                    Hope it isn't true!
Didn't he nearly go to Benfica when he was at Arsenal?
"Imagine a relationship that went wrong but you held on in there for years: that's what it is like supporting a football team. Your loyalty to a team can never die. Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.

We take on Ryan Nielsen to then let go of Traore

                      Dont make sense if true

Ryan is a CB and cant play left wing, so why the comparison ?

Highly unlikely MH has any plans to offload AT. Seemed to see him as an integral part of the plan up until now. Far too good to let go and seems happy at QPR.
