My day would be a lot better if everytime i turned on the radio some over-cocained media lush wasnt gushing about "TeamGB" and a "greatest ever sporting moment" the subtext for us normal people listening being "this is all not a complete waste of money....honest". Bradley Wiggles is apparently the greatest sportsman this country has EVER produced? who? a bike rider? BMX?.

Silver for Gibbons in the judo.
Can't get too upset with that, it's above expectations and the US girl, Kaya Harrison, who got gold has done magnificently well to come through some really rough stuff to get there.
Kayla Harrison once considered suicide but, instead found the bravery to expose her judo coach and the sexual abuse she had been subjected to. Now she is bidding for gold.
Hats off to her tbf
