The corporate Olympics can go hang.
We have a country racing as fast as it can, to get back to the dark, depressing days pre-1948.
So far, these, errr, games, are costing us £9billion and that price is rising by the minute. Sinful waste of money, if you ask me.
I look at all the knobs who turned out in their thousands to watch a torch go by, and I'm not at all surprised that their children, and their grandchildren, face such a bleak future.
A country in the grip of madness, that's the UK.
Anyway, enough about that, have a nice evening everyone.Last edited by BUSHRANGER1982; 28-07-2012, 05:25 PM.

The Proms are not for me btw, just to clarify.
Not my cup of tea at all.
Nothing wrong with them per se, but doesn't float my boat.
Take that preconceived notions of what I'm like based on my disagreeing with a few posters on WATRB forum!
The refereeing in the Olympic football is so lenient..awful tackle on Alex Scott there only gets a yellow. Jesus.....

Ahem :
Iranian TV was lukewarm at best, with Press TV describing the ceremony as "a light-hearted take on British history" but wondering whether the Games would be simply a "two-week of adrenalin rush for a country in deep recession with the hangover yet to come".Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:
