"Imagine a relationship that went wrong but you held on in there for years: that's what it is like supporting a football team. Your loyalty to a team can never die. Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.

I'm currently out shopping with the Mrs wearing new goalie top shorts & socks. Quite smart actually & getting lots of admiring looks.

You also have to remember the club adds a premium to make profit to help finance the club and better players etc, all profit opportunities are maximised, wheras, the likes of Sports Direct are happy to make small margins on certain items in the hope customers will buy other stuff there also.
Common sense as usual from Del.

yeah different strokes for different folks. i just think grown men at football in replica shirts look a bit perverse.for the kids i think its great but for adults i always look at them and think they are secretly harbouring dreams of becoming a footballer still.that and that they are a bit simple n all.

You're not still harbouring dreams of running out for the Rangers?
I'm just waiting until Hughesy happens to be stolling by one of my 5 a-side games with my mates and snaps me up
