  • QPR New Kits on Sports Direct for £35

Selling for only £35, feel pretty robbed really. On our site with a name, number and Premier League Badges it came to £75 (including postage), whereas on Sports Direct it comes to £54.99. I sense a lot of negative feedback to Tony and Co. coming.

All clubs sell their shirts for more than the sports retailers.

I was outraged that they wanted to charge me €21 to ship the shirt to Ireland on our online store, that's a plain rip off. Shirt itself came to roughly €57 long sleeve with no name, numbers etc. so including the postage it would have cost me €78, just too much to pay. Decided I'd pick it up on my next trip to LR instead!

Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.

One sec, if the shirt is £43 short sleeve on our website how did you end up at £75?? Printing must be really overpriced? Or you live outside the UK?

Perhaps he's got a double barrelled surname?

My surname is Willson, got the number 14 printed (so 2 numbers) and the Premier League badges, that comes to like £16. Then £8 for express delivery, and a **** load of VAT. Frustrating times, but I love getting the new strip every year.

Not really a surprise is it... If you brought a top brand shirt, such as Ralph Lauren or similar form thwir own store i'm sure it would be more than from a discounted retailer... Or like buying anything form a main car dealer etc....they add a premium rightly or wrongly.

You also have to remember the club adds a premium to make profit to help finance the club and better players etc, all profit opportunities are maximised, wheras, the likes of Sports Direct are happy to make small margins on certain items in the hope customers will buy other stuff there also.
