The headline has nothing to do with the article, which indicates the only reason for training with Fleetwood is so that he can keep fit.

Barton back early....?
If he ends uo playing for Fleetwood (loan?), they will have played 12 games by mid Oct (not sure if ban applies to ALL competitions)
Waiting for us to play 12 would mean about 24 Nov he'd be back.
Intesting (if true/allowed).....well would probably get more excited about this if we needed him in there.
Anyway.....

Even the Fleetwood fans don't want him.
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Barton admits loan deal is a possibility
Joey Barton has confirmed a loan move away from Queens Park Rangers is a possibility.
The 29-year-old midfielder is set to serve a 12 game ban for violent conduct and is training with League Two outfit Fleetwood in a bid to reach match fitness after being omitted from Rangers’ pre-season tour of Asia.

Joey has said one of the reasons he wants to train with Fleetwood is because he needs a reality check, and he hopes that he will regain some of his love for the game and it might teach him some much needed humility. As seen on Sky Sports News earlier.
He's saying all the right things for me, and if he carries on like this I think we can look forward to a raring to go and hopefully in form Joey Barton come January time.
I've thought about this, and if he had chosen to train with a bigger club (than Fleetwood) like another Premier League or even Championship side, then the rumours that he was joining that club would have been every day. I think it was a very wise move to go to there. Even if you're a cynic, the fact he is getting good PR for doing this will help improve his image. Which, no doubt, is also the point of the website imho. He obviously cares about his career and wants to make the most of it.
I hope we get behind Joey as I'm sure with the ACN coming up he'll have a big part to play for us this season.
