Id love to know what hold over the Venkys he's got because there is no way any chairman/board would stick by a manager who in 18 months has taken a steady eddie mid table down to the championship and still stick by him.

Just ask Sam Allardyce what he thinks of Steve Kean :=):
Don't you just love Gianni "I've never done nothing wrong for this club" Paladini..

Heard an extremely interesting rumour about Kean and who really owns Blackburn Rovers FC. It could all be rubbish but something tells me it isn't. Let's just say that, if there's any truth in the speculation, Kean has that club well and truly in the palm of his hand.

That sounds about right, most people have no idea how he hasn't got the sack yet.

At least he has no control on Hoilett
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Are you saying you've heard Steve Kean owns Blackburn Rovers? Would be an interesting tale! I can imagine a surge in suicide rates in the North West if so.

I saw something posted on a BRFC site last season about the ownership and how it's based closer to home than Mumbai based so to speak, but the fella that posted it was called allsorts of names including being a fantasist, so don't know what to believe

I remember reading something similar that Kean is part of some Glasgow based consortium made up gangsters and Venkys are just the front of the operation. Kean hand picked Venkys.

Steve Kean picks a long established Indian chicken farming company, to be a front for Scottish gangsters?

                              Seems legit.

The stuff about gangsters seems very far-fetched to me. However, wouldn't be surprised if elements of the story were true, particularly regarding Kentaro and the football agent. There's definitely something very strange about it all.
