Am I right in saying he hasn't featured at all yet on tour? Injury I assume. Wonder if he'll get a spot in the 25.

Hadn't noticed. Dyer not really been in most of our thoughts I guess.
One thing though, is that Dyer being so obviously determined to come back from injury must be pretty inspiring to be around. So maybe that's why Hughes keeps him around. A stop screwing around and look at how Kieron conducts himself sort of thing?
As things go, I wouldn't think he'd make the cut as it stands though.

It annoys me when i read people slagging Dyer off becasue he's taking money when always injured. Firstly, he didn't offer himself that contract, secondly he'll be more gutted than anyone, and thirdly from what we've read he's proffessional to the last and works his socks off to recover his fitness only to then have another setback. It must be so demoralising for him, yet he perseveres again and again.
He's been a top player for club and copuntry and yet still has that burning desire just to play football, something so many talented players of the current generation seem to lack, as to them it's all about money. The guy should be applauded, and i agree with an earlier comment that he's a great example to others.
I just really hope he gets fit and has a period unscathed, and who knows, if he does get a bit of luck, he could well be a useful forgotten asset for us.

If he does make the 25 he certainly wont be a starter. However could be a decent impact sub from the bench if were chasing the game or even shoring up the defence as he offers different options.
IF Hughes fancies him in the squad fair do's but I am not convinced yet he will make it. I personally would have Barton in from the outset rather then Dyer
