Queens Park Rangers Football Club is pleased to confirm the appointment of Glyn Hodges as Head of Coaching and Coach Education.
Hodges, a former Welsh team-mate of gaffer Mark Hughes, will head up our revamped youth and development structure at Loftus Road. The 49 year-old, who will work alongside Steve Gallen and Marc Bircham, was part of Hughes's coaching staff at Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City and Fulham.
Hodges had two spells as Caretaker Manager of Barnsley and has also coached at Leeds. He will oversee the coaching structure at Reserve and Academy level, working closely with Technical Director, Mike Rigg.
Rigg told www.qpr.co.uk: "This is another key appointment for the Club. We are building for the future, as well as the present at QPR, and Glyn's arrival further strengthens what we are trying to achieve here. He is a vastly-experienced coach, who knows the Manager and his backroom staff, so we are all delighted to have him on board."
