We could possibly do that by offering them some top Championship quality players who are surplus to us, but will do them a job..... possibly Bothroyd, DJ, Derry, Smith, Connolly etc etc ....
Hasn't this team (Russian) got all sorts of money?

Yeah i think they have, but it doesn't mean they paid the whole transfer in one hit, but just commited to it and made a mutually agreeable arrangement with the selling club, in this case Blackburn.... Of course they may have paid it in one hit, i don't know, but most transfers, even from the wealthiest clubs are staggered payments. I think the only high profile transfer that really bucked that trend was when Man Utd demanded the £80m for Ronaldo from Madrid in one hit and got it, but that's Madrid who are funded by the Spanish Government so not really an issue....

I think the rule is no more than 3 clubs. So 3 is allowed

Is there a link to this please?
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

I don't actually think MH is in the market for a CB,i think we might get a RB and then Onouha will be used as a CB.

I had that feeling as well. Tbh Onuoha was a really good CB at Man City under Hughes, I really hope that will work out for us

i think the 3 clubs rule is ok for us.....we were willing to offer 8mill i think so im guessing financials are complex but possible
wages are tricky i think he's on about 100k....i think it largely depends on chris, he has shown a determination to enforce his
decisions at blackburn.....so i think it may just come down to why CS went to russia.....as a stop gap on good pay...or long term
stay cos the pays good..btw not knocking him for that

in short i guess its as simple as ...what does chris want to do? imho....also seen what i consider to be a good twitter "itk"
                suggest "complex negotiations"

I prefer Onuoha at right back, he looked quite shaky at CB.

Indeed he did. IMO, he did totally lack composure.
