        Exactly Spot On!

Its character building and good chance for players to show a bit of personality to the fans.

So paladini walks past, gets abused, dont like it and decides to get his mate QBP to drop a few hints on his board about how ungracious the fans are and we better stop or no more interaction with the players. Sounds bout right.

goes back to the players leaving the poty seemingly early
and their attitude too..mainly away from the paying fans.

maybe a open day with fans and players..clear the air..we need to be "one"
any divisons within qpr won't help

if there's bad feeling it could only get worse.

              Exactly what I thought

I think you'll find that if a player wants to walk past and take some plaudits for a good performance they will.

Members of the board will get slated no matter what and thats fair enough, last year I watched fans give BE stick about his wife leaving him.....thats football supporters for you.

See in the paper today fans face charges for homophobic chanting at games. Yet another example of mollycoddling footballers, before you know it we won't be able to call the ref a ******.

                hold on a minute !!

I think some just simply respond without reading the thread, and I answered that about 12 replies ago.

In future give me time to answer, my English is bad at the best of times and having to respond quickly does not help.

It came from one of the players, who are getting pretty pished off with all the abuse they are getting verbally after games. Thats all.

I simply relying back, to be honest fans can do what they want.

Players allegedly getting abuse outside the springbok

                  Right,

                  new thread.

                  My take is this

                  a) No player I have spoken to has ANY issue with walking past the Bok. However, I only bother to give times to players that I like personally so, One Size aint on that list.

                  b) GP has no issues and spent ages in a pub with fans from here, Loftforwords and even indyrs after the game.

                  c) the dark haired girl he was with is my future wife and i'll kill anyone that says a bad word to her

                  d) Pre match Ollie got a fantastic welcome when he went passed the Bok, from Rs fans..it was great to see. But a pool fan did say to me.."mate, the players and managers walk through you lot to the ground?..thats amazing...madness but amazing" so, it is odd

                  e) Helgusons mrs was wearing white trousers and carrying two sets of boots

                  f) whats blue and fluffy

                      d) Seems to happen at most grounds we go to -- there's not many where the players' entrance is surrounded with kids wanting (and getting) autographs -- including Blackpool! When we played there a couple of years ago the double decker team coach was too high for their roadway and our players had to walk the last 200 yds from where their coach pulled up -- and the Blackpool players were walking through the waiting fans too. So that Blackpool fan on Saturday made an odd remark, in my experience.

                      f) Is there a prize for the right answer?

Seriously, it would be a BIG shame if the players didn't walk down SA road -- sounds like there was very little by way of abuse (that info from people who were actually THERE) and the kids would miss out so much on not being able to talk to their heroes, get autographs, photos etc.

Josie and I and several others met the team coach yesterday -- didn't seem to be any hard feelings from any of the players? And John Gorman, really nice bloke got off and greeted us like a relative would do, before offering around a few comp tickets for the stand. He also spoke to me at the end (won't go into why) and was again really friendly and chatty.

I think he has an attitude problem. Every time I've seen him he seems to look down on people..I thought it was just me but I've watched him from afar and he does it to most fans.

Just dont think he's a nice bloke.

Must admit I've not had a problem with him. Got a great photo of him and Dan where Dan was going "Am I taller than him? Am I? Am I?" and standing on tiptoe to try and be as tall as Fitz -- and Fitz was really friendly and laughing at the joking going on.
