Ramage, Gorkks, Borrowdale, Routledge and legs all had songs sung to them. Viney was walking past like he was proper gutted so a couple of the fans were saying keep ur head up viney ur quality son.

Its not the players that were abused it was ali russall and the crook that is Paladini .He was being told to sign a striker which has been quite evident for nearlly 6 months now. Thats why he dosnt want players walking past!

Then every random person that walked past was asked if they could play up front. Fair question i say. lol

I was there too, and that is spot on.
The "broke your leg" thing is made up. Simple. Nobody said that to Fitz Hall.
He was jokingly asked if he's injured yet, and replied "I'll injure you in a minute". FACT.

Paladini and Ali R got some stick.... that's all.
Which probably explains the decision, and why it's on here.

Having said that, I do find it odd that the players walk past a pub full of drunken fans after a game. It's always asking for this sort of reaction, so it's best that they do stop it.
    Shame.

HH Natural striker..... are you sure.....

He is anything but in my book and a consistent misser of easy chances, certainly not what we need to persist with.

Obviously, he cannot wait to cget back for selection, but the training staff will take their time and not rush him back.

Players will no longer be walking pass the Springbok after games after what they feel was unwarranted stick following the Blackpool game. Fitz Hall was shouted at with comments "haven't you broken your leg yet" other stick for Ageymang and others. I really do wonder sometimes what this acheives, okay we are frustrated, but these are the same players I give stick for not staying at POTY's or going to functions, and yet if they get this kind of stick week after week who can blame them. End of the day, argument would be they are paid footballers, but we hadn't just been played off the park we had played well and surely it doesn't help the bond between players and fans?

I heard heard a fan jokingly asked Hall, 'are you injured yet' to what Fitz Halls response was somewhere along the lines of, 'if you don't shut up, I'll come over there and injure you'.

Didn't spot you had already commented on that but I heard exactly the same thing word for word.

Sounds line One Size can't take a bit banter!

Dunno, but the "abuse" (particularly to Fitz/other players) has been blown out of all proportion. Nothing nasty was said to them.

Russell and GP did get some flack, which might answer your question.

But that's for Pete to answer.

Fitz halls sort never can have banter, unless its with his homies....

Wayne Routledge and Leigertwood were the same at the POTY, couldnt have a laugh. There just too cool!

Your'e making yourselves look pretty silly and its getting boringh, lets see how we do against Bristol City and Plymouth.
We scored 5 away at Everton in the early to mid 90's, that has been stated elsewhere. Try reading peoples posts ;D

Sounds like the players were getting a bit of stick, so what! they should grow up and either take it on the chin or give it back (Which is what I heard Fitz did).

Going back to the original post after Saturdays game, Routledge got some stick as well, with fans shouting "how **** he was", glad he scored 3 last night.

Pete - There are two accounts of the so called abuse, where did you get your version from and were you in the Springbok ?

                          No he didn't.
And nothing about Fitz "breaking his legs" either, which you posted as fact, and then judged the fans for something that didn't happen.

                          Source?? Me.
I was there, and others who were there have backed that up.

Either you have hearing problems if you were there, and if you weren't... somebody is selling you porkies.

Pete - credibility at stake here. You appear to be peddling untruths on behalf of others to justify armoured cars transporting the players and officials past the springbok. Where did you get your version from and did you hear it first hand and you know it to be 100% correct ?
