Talk about follow what the general concensus is.
That's hardly the same as some are making out - BP remortgaged his house (s) a few times to give us cash to keep us going - two very different things."Originally Posted by qblockpete

Agree, but you need to stop going on about bloody taarabt being the answer and the f ing midfield scoring a million goals this season.

Yes, we did score five goals against a ten man Exeter but that means nothing. We scored a few at this round of the cup last year and look how that turned out.
This season will be made or broken by the goals we score in the Championship and so far we failed to convert a number of chances against Blackpool and relied on a fluke goal from a defender.
We do need to see how the next couple of games pan out but its not hard to see that we do need a striker.

We scored 2 against 11 men.
We would have had 3 if the player doesn't handle the ball on the line.
Saturday we had 21 shots and scored 1.
Last night we had 11 shots and scored 5.
We're making chances. It's all about converting them.We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are...

I think we probably need a natural goalscorer, it is plain to see, as our front men aren't the ones scoring and we need them to. But that isn't this thread.
If players were abused, then it is a real shame, but how about some peer pressure? If your mate is shouting someting stupid, tell them to shut up.
If the players are gettin cheered mostly, then I am sure they won't mind walking past. Where is this info from Pete?

We must be the only fans who score 5 away from home and still not happy.
UNBELIEVABLE
Anyway, any chance we can stick to the thread and its subject. Its not we need a another striker post.

Shame about the players not walking past the pub, i heard HH get abuse when he walked past last home game of last season and just thought the fella shouting looked like a tool!!!
Just some pished up fool trying to impress his mates basically, its sad, really really sad.
How are they gonna go out from now on the, just cars picking them up outside the players entrance?...
Good news on Rowlands and faurlin, shame about balanta but could be good for ephraim or someone to prove themselves! I really rate Ephraim so im glad he might get his chance now.Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

Didn't we have something similar with abuse last season, and didn't the players park away from the ground and all come in on a coach for the following home game?
Personally, I think that's awful. People moan about players being detached (which most of ours actually aren't) but who wants to socialise with abusive fans?Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

I don't agree with abusing players but after that so called tool slated Helgs u would of thought that he would work hard and aim for plenty of goals this season. He has come back overweight and there is no way he is match fit. I am sorry but I don't respect the man for this reason. He is a typical journey man on a final pay day.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
