  • Hogan Ephraim

I think he's might surprise a few people this season.

Mark Hughes seem to rate him as a player giving him a new contract last season even though he was left out of the 25, I thought he was harshly treated by Neil Warnock

When Mark Hughes came in I think he wanted to stick with regular players at the time like SWP and jamie mackie in keeping Qpr up.

Do anyone agree Hogan Ephraim still got a future, he could be our impact sub

    Great lad, great attitude.
Too light weight, and not a good enough player unfortunately.
Would do well at mid table championship club.

Ephraim & Ehmer I think will surprise people. Good players the pair of them
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

The extensions of contracts for Hogan, Balanta and especially Dyer smack to me of the hand of the waiter being at work.

Pure speculation but it wouldn't surprise me IF automatic clauses kick in for these if we were to survive in the Prem last year. It's the sort of slapdash approach the previous custodians of the club took
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

He's more a squad player to be honest, although he still has potential.

I think we'll suss him out more this season as this is the big one.

Not sure how many chances he'll get - there's Hoilett, Mackie, SWP, Taarabt, Park, Traore and even Fabio who can all play on the wing.

I like the guy, but it'll be tough for him to make the 25 again. Hopefully he has a good pre-season and gives Hughes something to think about as attitude wise there are few better at the club.

He played a few games in last years pre-season & got alot of credit for himself, I agree, should be good seeing what he's got in these games

The squad must have a % of home grown players. Also a % of players trained at club. That's why only about 6 teams were able to name full 25 man squads last year.Balanta and Ephraim might be needed because of this.

I think MH dosn't see Hogan as a free transfere and wants a fee for him hence the new deal

Useless player who remains mysteriously popular with our supporters. Can't beat his man or cross. Lower mid-table Championship player at the very best.

Not sure if this is on subject, but while researching foreign players, I found this information. We fielded more English players than any other premiership team last season, but then we also fielded more players.
