Do you actually understand 2nd season syndrome?
Thought not so I'll explain it to you.
It is where a team comes up and excels in their first season beyond expectations giving them false hope and are either found out or are unable to sustain the success they were having therefore usually struggling in the 2nd season as they try to equal or better it to no avail. I think both you and Swansea fall into those categories so good luck Mr Wizard.

spot on, I see us comfortably in the top half
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

So how many Bolton fans thought they'd drop last summer? A few maybe
        Wolves fans likewise

Very, very, very tough season ahead for around 8 clubs with us being one of them. You can't odds what can happen over a season and I will never call us being safe as I've followed this club too long.
Cisse out with an injury at the moment and I'd say that weakens our attack by 60%
What if Green gets injured? I shudder at the thought of Cerny in goal
        We'll have suspensions in midfield
Ali needs to be nursed back
        There's yet another African Cup
Our fans can be the most fickle
The FA would still love us to struggle and could put Pollock on the line every game!!!

We've got some great personnel this season and fantastic off pitch team.
Let's hope we fulfill our potential but let's not be conceited enough to expect to be a top 6 club

        Just yet anyway
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Dear First Wizard, please refrain from wishing a second season syndrome on our team. I am of the opinion that you only frequented this site last season to revel in our relegation woes. I personally hope that the club Norwich suffer such woes the coming season so that i may frequent their site to witness , like a voyeur , their angst.

That's what i thought Kron, but got told to layoff him

i would hope to see wigan go down. i dont like the idea of a club just surviving year in year out. as for swansea and norwich i hope they go down just to stick two fingers up at the fans who hates us and bang about us being portsmouth

I don't. The fact is we were in a false position last season and had some of our players not been stupid at times and got reds, we wouldn't have turned certain wins into defeats. Plus shocking decisions seemed to go against us more than most, Bartond red against your shower was a farce and we were beyond comfortable and winning, end up losing, SWP's goal against WBA was fine and should have stood and given us win, and of course Hill's header 84 yards over the line at Bolton!

We should have finished higher and have improved significantly so can only see mid table for us, and no struggle.

You were also in a false position imo and will be found out. Fair play the players and manager out did themselves last year, but I can't see them doing it again.

Also for everyone saying 3 teams who were already up bear in mind last season was the first time in yrs all 3 promoted teams survived, I can't see it happening 2 yrs running. Of the promoted sides I think WH will struggled big time. They play worse football than the other 2, have bigger ego's to contend with and an idiotic fanbase who will pile on pressure if not going well.

                    Nonsense!

I wished you nothing of the kind fella. Nor did I revel in your struggles last season, whilst you I believe, and your fellow Ranger's fans, had almost accepted relegation, it was I, I, who consistently said you'd be safe.

Still, why let truth get in the way of a personal grudge eh?

west ham, norwich and swans. dont think they have added enough quality to their squads. reading and southampton, i believe, will spend a bit of money in this window eventually. i think liverpool will have a shocking season under rodgers too. he got found out towards the end of season.

Why do so many bite at first wizard - he is one of the very few opposition fans that comes on here and makes sense without dishing out. I know Norwich is not our favourite cup of tea but the Wizard in isolation seems a decent guy and a knowledgeable enough football fan IMO
