Bumped into one of the v most senior figures @ qpr by chance. Just back from asia and bursting with enthusiasm. He was hugely impressive. Anyway, he said hoilett is friday - sorry facto...
Great news if true, cracking player. Hopefully there's more to come but if not our squad is looking miles better than last year anyway.

JH probably will be less than 6m but for someone to state the fee will be 2.5m as fact annoys me. I'm all for guessing games but this.....

So we have to wait another day thanks for sharingUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

Here is the amount Chelsea paid Manchester City for Sturridge at the tribunal.
"With Sturridge's contract at Manchester City expired, he signed for Chelsea on a four-year contract on 3 July 2009. As Sturridge is under the age of 24, and the two sides were unable to agree a deal, the fee for Sturridge was decided by a tribunal. The Professional Football Compensation Committee decided on 14 January 2010, that Chelsea would pay an initial fee of £3.5 million with additional payments of £500,000 after each of 10, 20, 30 and 40 first-team competitive appearances. There will also be a further payment of £1 million if the player makes a full international appearance, and Manchester City will receive 15 percent of any sell-on fee if Sturridge is transferred."Last edited by jmelanie; 25-07-2012, 10:40 PM.
