chelski in harlesden is wrong, this end of west london is qpr land.but on the other hand can you imagine us in rise/grove and the scum a cpl miles down the road in harlesden/park royal.it will take the rivalry onto a different level, and with both clubs so close you might get a few more locals supporting west london clubs like they hould be doing, instead of utd, lpool,####,spurs, etc!

Sorry, I haven't read the whole thread but regarding the Linford site by the Scrubs, this has cropped up many times in the past but has always been rejected on the grounds that it's protected against development, and that there are serious issues around access given the residential nature of the area, plus the hospital and prison etc.
Shame, because the location would be fantastic in terms of retaining links to QPR history. But I can't see it happening.
Can I throw a cat among the pigeons here? Honest, this is not a 'troll' suggestion, but would it really be impossible for people to consider ground-sharing with Chelski? I can assure you, no one despises them more than I do (being of 60s / 70s QPR vintage, I fully understand how dreadful they are). But I'm thinking, here we have two Prem teams looking for a big stadium in West London. Think how much further our money would go and how much wider our options would be if we pooled resources. Other cities around Europe have ground-sharing between big clubs. Personally I could live with it, simply on the basis that the advantages outweigh the downside. And a blue stadium would suit both!
Thoughts?

The LC site to my mind is a frontrunner given that as i understand it The MOD (Goverment) own the land.
With the current financial state of the alledged governments lack of funds for some items and the recently
reported sale of park space i feel this really possible.
With the right planning and interaction with local community and all parties concerned this could well
be where we move to.
Maybe 2+2=5 but maybe 4 in light of above

New stadium rumour
This location was rumoured a while back as well -
Just heard from a mate who has a source inside LR that the new stadium will be where the Linford Christie stadium now stands on the scrubs. 40,000...

If this is wrong, don't shoot the messenger, I'm just telling you what I've heardUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

if the unigate and bbc sites are a no go than this would be a reluctant 3rd choice, to provide adequate transport links would make it prohibitive, the cost would be collossalI must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most
