Hope so too mate. Beard said 1 or 2 more yesterday. TF had previously said 3. Could have meant they were just 3 that had been targeted and we read too much into these things.

So long as a commanding CB is signed I, personally, am happy with the squad. Any on top of thats a bonus.

Another reason could be that some of the youngsters showing so much progress that we are thinking we don't need to spend lots of money if we have already a cheaper and younger version at our hands.

Would love to see Hoillet and Ki added to our squad, we will see what happens.

You might want to consider that we've got just three CMs available, Derry, Diakite, and Park if Hughes wants to play him there. Barton is suspended and Ale is not quite fit enough yet. Also, we've got just three FBs if Young goes, Fabio, Onouha and Traore.
