Another reason could be that some of the youngsters showing so much progress that we are thinking we don't need to spend lots of money if we have already a cheaper and younger version at our hands.
Would love to see Hoillet and Ki added to our squad, we will see what happens.
We are in a far more better state in comparison to last years start, bet Warnock envies the current situation.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011

He wouldn´t!! That was the poster´s point, I think. The current situation is quite unbelievably satiesfying. The signings of Green, Park, Johnson, Fabio, Diakite and Nelson proves that. Yet he have only July..
Just my take at it, though.:=):QPR

I am alos not convinced that QPR's FBs are good enough. Traore is better going forward than defending and Fabio is almost an unknown quantity.
I think QPR still need a better CB (Samba) than Ferdinand, Hill and Nelsen.

We have players that can play in varying positions up front, midfield and full back, I still think we need another central defender to make sure we don't get exposed Through the middle of the back four, and especially from set pieces. Any other players would be increasing our attacking options, and that is always welcome..!!Keep your High balls Low, and your long balls short, and get the front 2 to Play in a Triangle

LB = Fabio & Traore.
2 per position is sufficient IMO. That young lad Harriman is an LB too, and Fabio can play RB. CB is the priority for me, fullbacks are fine.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

None of the full backs fill me with confidence as specialist position defenders, wing backs tend to be more of a liability than an asset imo - even Spain were using out and out wingers to go wide and not WBs (until Italy were in tatters and everyone was popping up). And then of course there's the hole in the middle, priority no 1.
Doesn't matter who is in front of the back four (or three, depending on set up) its the quality of the GK and defenders that keep the wolf from the door. To me the current back four looks very vulnerable and in some ways Fabio contributes to that, since picking him raises as many questions as it answers. It all makes the CB thing even more important.

Yes a CB has to be a priority.
Personally I would have done more to keep Taiwo at the club as IMO he improved a lot as LB during last season's run-in.
As for Young as RB cover, well he's not even on the Asian tour so I'd say that's not looking too promising. Dyer, however, IS on the tour and appears to be over his last injury, so maybe he has been earmarked for RB cover (as he was for the opening 2 minutes of last season).
