I know loads of chelsea boys who dont go anymore because of the way their club has changed , for a few different reasons ,from affording tickets, corporate sanitised atmosphere, cant get tickets all together etc

How would you define "long serving" though? Season ticket holder for last 10 years? But then some (probably around 1,000) will say I was one of the 10 fans at Bognor in 1950 and was priced out in the championship by bernie and flav. Or someone who lost his jonb during that 10 years and is now returning? It's all ********. Lifes too short. I say again, I want us to build qpr into the ****ing biggest football club ever....every sodding player will want to join us. Madrid will be our feeder club.

Yeah they are, but i reckon they`d swop that to have the Shed and Benches and all the "fun" they used to get up to at stamford bridge back .

Im not sure about all these so called fans turning up to our 45 000 stadium. If you loved rangers you would have turned up when we were struggling in league 1. I understand football has become a game of money but I'd rather support my team in the lower leagues with fans who love the club no matter what. Im sick of #####s asking me about Joey Barton and how we are now spending money. Take me back to Gareth Ainsowrth, Gino Padula and Lee Cook.
To the OP. Surely you can't be serious about you'd rather watch us at S****horpe than Old Trafford??? I understand there is a little magic in us being a small club and putting one over on the big boys. The prime example was the New Years Day Massacre when we won 4-1 at Man Ure. I would much rather us be doing that than winning/drawing/losing at places like Barnsley/Bury/Port Vale etc (and no disrespect meant to those clubs) even though i've loved going to places like these.

I've supported Rangers for 40 years now even though i was born and bred in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. I've really enjoyed us being a small club but the time is right to move forward and not look back. Ive taken endless amounts of stick up here for supporting Rangers with comments like "Why do u support southern sh!t like that?" and "Youre just a w@nky small team in London". So foooking what. Im proud to be a w@nky small team from London. I'm proud to be an R and when i see anyone else in a Rangers shirt it makes me even prouder. I wear my Rangers shirts all the time wherever i go. This includes Germany, Italy, Venice, Paris, Philippines or just going out anywhere. It's p!ssed me off over the years watching all the Leeds shirts spring up in the early 90's, the Chelscum shirts over the last 10 years and now all the Citeh shirts springing up. Having said that this is all evolution and that is why clubs like those are now Global brands. Does anyone think Citeh would rather be back in the 2nd division rather than winning the title on the last day of the season against us??? No way. Citeh arent looking back and why should they? Good luck to them. This is why we have to embrace this moment because something magical is happening at our club. We are very very lucky to be in this position so why do people want to go back to the dark days of yesteryear? I totally understand why some fans will get p!ssed off when they see new Rangers fans springing up everywhere and Rangers fans coming out of the woodwork who havent bothered when we were sh!t. It will p!ss me off too when young kids start wearing our shirts all over the place but this is what happens when something starts to grow and its something older fans will just have to accept. I would rather this be happening than crowds of 8,000 or the club going bust anyday of the week. Lets embrace it and join the ride while it lasts. Hopefully we can grow and maybe one day we can fill 45k. But for now and for the foreseeable future we will still be a small club even with our new found wealth. Of course there will be glory hunters but tbh i can put up with that. I would rather be in our position than say Coventry, Portsmouth or Glasgow Rangers.

Of course it will be a worry to us filling 45k and it could look really bad if we only have 16-20k in a 45k arena but i remember in the 70's we regularly got around mid 20k to 30k so theres no reason we cant do this again. 30k is a good starting point and im sure we can achieve this. With a bigger ground a lot of the other premiership teams will be able to bring bigger away support so this should help us too. Ji Sung Park is a masterstroke in my eyes and if we can attract a korean fan base then it will be so much better for us. Take a look at Man Ure how many asians and sikhs there are in their ground.

My favourite time to be a Rangers fan was 75/76 but the period we are now entering has the potential to eclipse everything. I'm loving every minute of this and will continue to do so. The only people bad mouthing us are the fans of other teams that are simply jealous of whats happening here. I was the same in the 90's when Jack Walker built up Blackburn. You dont see Man Ure, Man Citeh, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs having a pop at us just because we are growing. The fans getting jealous are teams like, Norwich, Foolham. Stoke, West Brom, West Spam etc etc. Every team in recent history who has achieved any amount of success has done it by buying their way to success. In Modern times this is the only way to do it whether thats right or wrong. No matter how good the manager is he can only take a team so far on a limited budget. Without money success is totally impossible. Lets look to the future and not look back so much. In my eyes we will always be a small team and never be anywhere near Man Ure, Arsenal, Citeh etc but at least now we have a chance to compete with these teams. Lets face it every team around England other than the big teams would love to have Tony Fernandes but were the ones who were lucky enough to get him so lets enjoy our future together U R'ssssssssss

I'm not sure I see your point here. If lots of people are clamouring for tickets for the new ground, how is that a bad thing? Are you saying we will fill a 45k stadium? I don't think we will, so where is the harm in offering an incentive based on showing your love and support for QPR?

just saying it's a nice idea but how do you decided what fans are/have been more loyal and offer discount? Where's the cut-off? Reason why I don't think it will work is above. We'll fill 45k if we start winning.

You could have a small tier system. At the highest end would be people who have been season ticket holders for consecutive seasons, maybe a loyalty scheme for fans over a certain age group for the lower tiers and so on.

People like saving money, and it would be good PR for the club. Will everyone be happy with it? No. But then people are apparently unhappy we're in the Premier League

Cant blame 'em TBH I''ve followed Rangers up and down the country in Recent so called the bad old days on the same coach as quite a few off this board, the grounds were $hite, the football often dire saturday afternoon just became about the "Craic" but im sure our home gates in the lower div's were always quite good 14/15/16k. its easy to slate someone for turning up now when things are on the up(I only made a few games last year myself) and were apparently no longer a Small club but the way I see it were gonna need all the new and old faces we can get to fill this 45k stadium or we'll be rattling round in there!!!
