Good.Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

Hardly a surprise that was the outcome of the vote. All this rubbis about SPL clubs could go under without their gate receipts for a few years etc is pathetic... get your house in order.
Also, why would the lower league clubs vote for Rangers to go into Div 1 so the top clubs can line their pockets at the expense of themselves.... By voting Div 3 means all the lowly clubs will geta nice pay day when Rangers visit and fill their ground and that could cover their costs for a year.

shocking really.
I know theyve obviously done wrong, but its gonna be mad up there.
Can the SFL answer how theyre gonna allow grounds that hold only 2-3k entertain a team thats going to be taking thousands each week, cos it will still happen?
stupid decision.

If Rangers were ever serious about pursuing a route to the prem now is the ideal time to apply for inclusion into the English league. If they started in conference North or whatever, they could feasibly be in league 2 by the time they'd get back into the the SPL.

clubs like Celtic with higher wage bills will most likely need to offload their better players to the likes of QPR.

I wonder who the chairmen of these little clubs are going to go running to complaining to, when their park grounds get overun by drunken Gers fans next season?
Was their decisions at the end of the day. Let em live with it now.

It's about roots and identity.
I think it's basically becasue the SPL product is so poor even with Rangers in it that they don't make much TV money.... but without Rangers, and therefore no old firm derbies in the league for years the product will be even worse and generate even less money.
clubs like Celtic with higher wage bills will most likely need to offload their better players to the likes of QPR.
that's what i was hoping Del, there is fear that the TV companies will now look to renegotiate a new deal down
