Manchester United, City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham will compete for the top 6. That's pretty much a given really.

Newcastle, Sunderland, Everton and Aston Villa will more than likely fill up the top ten. Then there's teams like Stoke, Norwich, Fulham and West Ham who I think will be pushing for mid table.

It's possible we could find ourselves in the top 10. But anything higher than 14th is a terrific season for me.

                that was a great read.
i always liked cheering for an underdog and that's what QPR will be labeled as.
but with Tony as an endearing owner and Hughes as a gaffer, I can't imagine the R's being an underdog for long.

I haven't seen any matches of QPR as of late, but what a strike by Taarabt. I can't wait to see what the R's have in store for the upcoming season.
August 18th seems so far away..

The three raw youngsters won't be in the 25 man squad as you don't have to name them. Unless the rules have changed yet again; home based youth players under a certain age don't count towards the squad but can be used in the season.

Assuming I'm correct then your observation on the travelling numbers on the tour does mean we've room for two more minimum.
As most have said, a centre back in his prime and an adaptable wide midfield player would be the jigsaw finished. I'd still be more than happy to start the season with what we've got, loan out Barton to the CCC to run his ban down quicker, ease Ali back in and plan for scenario A or B in January

                  Football isn't it? Mmmmmmmm
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.
