    Cant agree. Whether he was blatantly cheated is irrelevant. Being blatantly cheated is what happens to you in the prem league. Opposition players foul just as much in the prem as in lower leagues but they are a lot, lot more cunning about it. As Tring says, Barton allows himself to be wound up. He cant control himself. He was sent off in two matches last season, both of which we lost but both of which we arguably wd have won if he had stayed on the pitch. With six more points we wd have finished more or less mid-table with Norwich etc. And in the unlikely event he does play for us again, opposition players will target him for precisely these reasons - because he is easy. Cant say I warm to Bellamy hugely but he is a lot more restained and his scoring/ assist record speaks for itself.
