  • Does any else think Diakate has slipped in under the radar of the Premier League...?

...barely mentioned in the media or forums of other clubs.

Mass hysteria amongst our supporters on whether he would sign, even Fernades called it A 'watershed' moment for the club.

Diakate for me next season is going to take the PL by storm and the rest will not even see it coming.

Potential to be a top top player and I would not be surprised within the next 12 to 24months for us to be entertaining a bidding war from the big four clubs

He reminds me a little be of YaYa Toure but not as huge....

Give the fella a chance at the moment he's a good player with what looks like great potential but no more than that dont put the burden of exspectation on him to earley

I think there was less publicity because a lot of people considered that he virtually signed for us last January. There was a small amount of publicity at the time but not too many people knew anything about him at the time.

I thought he looked to have all the ingredients for a true great...it's about consistancy and development now. He reminded me of Patrick Vierra sometimes......and he was immense.

If he plays like he did against arsenal every other game then clubs will be taking notice of him..

I think its just lazy journalism to be honest. In his short spell last season he has shown all the attributes to be likened to a Yaya Toure or young Paddy Vieira. If he starts turning in a few performances the media will be all over him like a cheap suit (see Gyli Siggurddson the current media darling).

I prefer them not to be talking about him tbh, i think there have been too much of the fanfares surrounding our business from last season and i think it lifted opposition performances against us, from teams we should have beaten.

I said it at the time, he's the best signing the club have ever made & will make (this transfer market). He's a huge signing for QPR
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
